Service Description
Our Chess Enrichment Class gives students the opportunity to develop critical thinking, patience, focus, problem-solving skills, and strategic reasoning in a fun and encouraging environment. Students will learn the rules of chess, piece movement, opening principles, basic tactics, checkmate patterns, defensive thinking, and good decision-making through age-appropriate lessons, puzzles, and guided games. The class is designed for homeschool students who would benefit from mental challenge, structured thinking, and positive peer interaction during the school week. Students will practice concentration, planning ahead, respectful competition, taking turns, winning with humility, and losing with grace. This class is beginner-friendly and focuses on skill development, logical thinking, confidence, and joyful participation rather than intense competition.
